Between Mr. Padilla, who has taught Taekwondo for over 7 years in the greater Portland metro area, and Mrs. Lee, who has been educating children for over 10 years, you won’t find any other school that can match their level of professionalism, integrity or knowledge anywhere else.
Every class is taught by Mr. Padilla, a certified instructor in Taekwondo, who has taught all over the world. Most recently he has taught at Saegae Taekwondo in Daejeon, South Korea. Mr. Padilla, a former Military Police Officer, also had the honor of teaching members of the 65th Military Police Co. ABN. self-defense while in Afghanistan in 2001. Aside from being a practitioner of Taekwondo, he has also studied many other styles of martial arts including Chinese and Pilipino martial arts. Currently, his one drive in life is to devote himself to his new school and his students and echo his love of the martial arts to all that are willing to learn.
Mrs. Lee, who has a degree in English from Daejeon University, South Korea, has been teaching English to children in Korea for over ten years. With her passion for teaching and her love of children, she brings a new level of energy to Echo Taekwondo. As she begins a new life here in America, Echo Taekwondo is honored and fortunate to have her joyful spirit and kind understanding here with us.
